Therapy

My philosophy as a therapist is to provide support in a warm and non-judgmental environment.  I work in a collaborative way to formulate goals, problem solve and identify coping skills.  I am an insight oriented therapist who is passionate about helping people understand what they feel and why they feel it.  I have an anti-oppressive framework so I understand how various societal structures can impact  mental health and well-being.  I am LGBTQ2S positive.

I have an integrated approach drawing upon different skills and knowledge depending on the situation and the needs of my clients.  My approaches include:

Rates

  • Free 15 minute phone consultation
  • $150 for 60 minute individual session (including HST)
  • $160 for 60 minute parent/family consultation
  • Some sliding scale appointments available
  • Many insurance plans will cover services so please check with your provider.
